The VOLUTIO brand consists of three lines.
The core line VOLUTIO BY ANNA KLEIHUES, V – stitched label, and the new line VOLUTIO – white label, which will be launched this summer. The brand VOLUTIO was introduced 2007 in Berlin with a pure menswear collection – since 2010 also incorporating pieces for women.

are singular pieces upon order, which are derived from the core collection, but either stand out as unique pieces in a limited edition, e.g. The Galloway Waistcoat, or are tailor-made for particular costumers.



All collections are developed and the patterns are made in the Berlin studio. The fabrication is regional in Berlin and Germany, very few pieces were produced in U.E. The high quality is evident in the fine choice of fabrics, e.g. woolens/worsted from UK, Austria and Germany as well as in the cooperation with a Swiss cotton quality weaver for fine shirting of mostly high quality Egyptian cotton and also organic cotton. Haberdashery is all natural material in nice qualities.



The designer, Anna Kleihues , was born in Westphalia and grew up in Berlin, in a milieu of arts, architecture and nature. She graduated in physics in Zürich and Toulouse, Dipl.-Phys. ETHZ, and studied Fine Arts at Rhode Island School of Design and Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. 2007 she graduated with distinction from Akademie Mode+Design (AMD) and founded her label VOLUTIO. 2008 she was nominated the Innovationspreis textil+mode. She also creates individual pieces and costumes on demand under her name Anna Kleihues. She lives and works in Berlin as fashion and costume designer inter alia for the choreographer Ben J.
